Tomorrow, I will Honor my Ancestors, without fanfare. It will be a sorrowful affair, because, they are family Ancestors, who never saw the light of freedom. They were brought to America as captives, and, they died as captives.
Tomorrow, millions of African Americans will honor their Ancestors, as I will be doing. In other black quarters, there will be community celebrations for those Ancestors who fought in The American Revolution, while others will boldly, and unapologetically, express their anger for the burdens their Ancestors had to carry, and, the suffering they had to endure.
